APHE History

With enormous thanks to Cary Welling, of Nottingham Trent University, we are fortunate to have a selection of the earlier Journals and newsletters of the association. Perhaps a reflection of the nature of professional bodies generally, plans for more regular, frequent, and substantial publications ebbed and flowed with the financial state of the association and the personal interests of the volunteers.

We have a wealth of additional material, that would probably provide the basis of a history of the association, if someone feels the urge to work with it. If so, perhaps you could discuss this with our Chair.

If anyone has copies of publications other than those shown here, we would be delighted to receive them. Ultimately, we hope to provide an index too…
