The Photography Show runs from 18-21 March at Birmingham NEC and we actively encourage students to visit. We host an extensive programme of talks open to all, the latest kit from 250 brands available to try out, a conference dedicated to students and their next steps after university, plus a range of demos and other activities to get involved with. It’s a great day out and a chance for the photography student community to get together.
Our official student day is Tuesday, 21 March and entry is free for students (this is also when the student conference is held). Students are very welcome to attend on the Saturday or Sunday if it suits better – we charge a nominal fee of £10.95 for entry (if anyone would like to bring a group on the Saturday or Sunday, I am happy to discuss group discounts). Tutors are classed as ‘trade’ and can apply for free entry on any day.

Student Ambassador scheme. We’re looking for 10 students to help us get the word out about the show through their networks. We really don’t require a huge amount of commitment from them and as thanks for their efforts, we give them a VIP experience at the show, plus a voucher and goodie bag to support their photography journey further through their studies. If anyone knows of any student who might be interested, please could this info be forwarded to them?
